The govt is heading towards socialism : PM Oli

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli says his government is heading towards socialism.

He dismisses charges by the main opposition Nepali Congress that it is heading towards authoritarianism.

Speaking at a meeting of the National Development Council in Kathmandu on Wednesday, the Prime Minister said rumours were created about the authoritarian move of the government unnecessarily.

He claimed that the government was moving towards a better democracy and equality.

On the occasion, Oli said the government was preparing a plan to ensure the end of poverty within next five years.

He called on all stakeholders to provide suggestions to the government on that.

He said everyone should participate in the government plan of making the country prosperous and its people happy.
