KATHMANDU : The Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) has called for its parliamentary party meeting. The meeting was scheduled from 10AM in Singha Durbar.

The party has summoned its parliamentary party meeting following the move of President Bidya Devi Bhandari to initiate the process of forming a new government as per the Article 76(5).

The meeting is expected to make some crucial decisions. JSP has already stated that it would participate in the new government only if the party is given the role of leadership.

Prime Minister Oli decided not to seek a vote of confidence in parliament and asked President Bidya Devi Bhandari to pave the way to form a new government as per Article 76(5) of the constitution.

While the party leaders and constitutional leaders say the move of President Bhandari and PM Oli unconstitutional, all eyes are now on JSP.

Issuing a press statement, Bibeksheel Sajha Party has urged opposition parties and members of parliament to unite and take an initiative to form a new government, and impeach the President.
