Jhulungo awarded best film in sports in Nepal America Film Festival 2021

KATHMANDU : Winners of the Nepal America Film Festival 2021 that kicked off virtually on June 17 have been announced on Monday.

The four-day long film festival had featured 30 films from more than 14 different countries, according to the organizers.

Mannu: Sprouts of Endurance by Ramdas Kadavallur and So what if the Goats Die by Sofia Alaoui have won Special Jury Mention award while Gramercy by Pat Heywood and Jamil McGinnis and Julungo by Rajesh Prasad Khatri have been picked for Jury Awards for best in Shorts.

Likewise, Spontaneous by Lori Felker has been picked for Jury Awards for the best in Experimental Film and Mother, I Am Suffocating by Lemohang Jeremiah Mosese for Jury Awards for best in Feature.

Similarly, Mother, I Am Suffocating has also been awarded the Grand Jury Award. Six member judge panels were formed to select the best film for Nepal America Film Festival.
