“I will make arrangements to operate the PCR lab of Kanakai recently”: Chief Minister Rai

Birtamode : Chief Minister of province 1 Sherdhan Rai has lauded the establishment of PCR testing lab at Kankai in Jhapa under the coordination and leadership of one for one campaign.
After an on- site inspection of the lab set up at Samrpan Bhawan in Kankai on Friday, Chief Minister Rai said that the lab is more organized than he had imagined. I have seen many labs, ‘said Chief Minister Rai’ but this lab set up by the citizens is very excellent and well-organized.
He said that he was serious about running the lab set up to support the Government on the initiative of the citizen. “Why can’t such an excellent lab come into operation?” He asked. In the discussion held after the inspection, Chief Minister Rai promised to investigate the matter as soon as he arrives in Biratnagar today and make arrangements to operate it by giving permission within a day or two.
He said, that the coverage of Corona Virus was increasing in the community in Province 1 and the scope of testing should be increased for that reason, he expressed his commitment to bring the one-for-one lab operational soon.
Chief Minister Rai has also urged the people of the state to be aware of Corona .’Let’s all come out and fight against Corona from our place’ he said, “Let’s all be careful, let’s appeal to everyone, let’s defeat Corona from this state.”
During the discussion, Member of the House of Representatives Pabitra Niraula Kharel, Mayor of Kanakai Municipality Rajendra Kumar Pokhrel and others said that the government should bring the lab into operation as soon as possible. They argued that the operation of the lab should not be delayed due to legal provisions.
