Women dies in attrack by wild Elephant in Bhadrapur

Jhapa; A women has died after being attacked by a wild elephant in Bhadrapur. 50 years old Sita Dahal of Kamaldhap in Bhadrapur Municipality-2 has died after being attacked by an elephant yesterday 1:30 pm onward.

Monday afternoon, she and her friends went to cut grass in the forest. According to Rakesh Thapa, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, she was attacked by a wild elephant. DSP Thapa said that she was seriously injured in the attack and died on the way to the hospital .

A team of police inspectors has been deployed from the district police office to investigate the incident.
