1 died on the spot and 2 injured in kawasoti truck collision

NAWALPUR:  A person died on the spot and two others sustained injuries after a truck rammed into another truck parked in Kawasoti along the East-West Highway of Nawalpur on Sunday morning.

Police have identified the deceased as Anaram Rakhal (18) and injured as Sudip Rai (30) and Binod Lama (23), all three hailing from Dang district.

According to District Police Office, the incident occurred when the truck  Na 6 Kha 1194  heading in the westward direction rammed into the truck  Na 7 Kha 1099  parked beside the road in Kharkatta Forest near Kawasoti this morning, crushing one to death and injuring two.

The critically injured were rushed to the Old Medical College, Bharatpur where they are undergoing treatment, informed police.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway.
